The Gadgy, as the town bailiff character is popularly known, is amongst the favourite figures present each year at the Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering. I am busy capturing this character as a textile postcard. Just a small amount of seed stitch and a Northumbrian tartan surround needed to complete this design.
