These blackwork designs are available only as printed patterns. I will add new designs here so you may want to come back from time to time.

BW-1 Seaton Delaval Hall

The Seaton Delaval Hall blackwork pattern is printed over 2, overlapping A4 size pages. It is a counted stitch pattern so it is suitable for stitching on either linen or Aida.
Separate from the pattern pages are:
- a picture of the stitched design
- stitching instructions (see my How to tab above)
... those of you who already have some experience performing the stitches in this design.
Model stitched using...
- DMC 3031 (brown) Mouliné stranded cotton threads
- across 2 threads on 28 count, off-white linen
- 83 stitches (H) x 111 stitches (W)
- approximately 6 in. (15.5 cm) x 8 in. (20.5 cm) on 28 count linen/14 count Aida
- cloth is approximately 8 in. (20.5 cm) higher and wider than the finished design
- cross stitch (whole, ½, and ¼)
- backstitch
- long stitch
- double running stitch
